Celeb Kids: Diezel Braxton-Lewis Leaves ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ With Mom Toni Braxton

Serving sunkissed curls goodness for the kids, Diezel Braxton-Lewis (who recently celebrated a birthday) was photographed with his famous mom Toni Braxton leaving Wendell Williams’ lair of lies today in New York City.

Wearing the distinctive blue puzzle piece lapel pin, mom and son showed their support for Autism Speaks.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to increasing awareness of the growing autism epidemic — 1 in 166 children is now diagnosed with autism — and to raising money to fund scientists who are searching for a cure. Toni has been a spokeswoman for the organization after Diezel was diagnosed with autism in October 2006.

“He wasn’t developing like his brother was,” said Toni about the little red flags when comparing Diezel to his older brother, Denim. “I know you’re not supposed to compare, but things were drastically different. I became determined to join Autism Speaks in its battle against this devastating disorder when autism became a part of my family’s reality.”
