Tweets Is Watching: Katy Perry Denies Beyonce Shade

The creole constituency put Katy Perry at the top of their shit lists this week when the newly divorced singer had the sheer audacity to voice her opinion when asked if she’ll ever duet with Rihanna.

“[Rihanna and I have] collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet. It’s one of those things that’s got so much build up that we have to deliver. There was one reference that I made along the way thinking about, like, the vibe of Aretha Franklin and Annie Lennox from the Eurythmics, ‘Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves,’” Perry told MTV News.

“I saw that video the other day, and it’s full 1980s something, [it's] prime. But it was just, like, the message was so nice. I love it and no offense, ’cause I love the song ‘Beautiful Liar’ by Shakira and Beyonce, but I want to do something a little bit more brave.”

Like clockwork, the Dirty Rice Army nor media let the subtle shade go unnoticed and ran through her Twitter replies like a mob of storm troopers. She had to have seen it coming.

“Fuck all y’all (press) dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez,” wrote Katy on Tuesday night. “U havin a slow news day or what?! Get a life, cuz it’s not mine! #hoodratcominout. If ya ears are filled with wax it’s time to get a cleanse boo.”

Katy wouldn’t bust a grape but it’s cool.
