Ray J On Whitney Houston: ‘I Really Miss My Friend’

Without saying his name Ray J was read extensively by Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law Patricia “Pat” Houston like an employee handbook during her exclusive interview with Oprah — and life was obtained by all.

On Friday, during a press conference for the Brotherhood Crusade and Mothers in Action Organizations in Los Angeles, Ray J was moved to tears while describing his current emotional state.

He told reporters, “I really miss my friend, you know, I really do. I’m still hurting.”

He added, “I’m able to look at life in a whole different way.” He looked down at his cell phone and said, “I always look at my phone because I’ve got a picture of somebody that I really love and it helps me through the day.”

“This is all new for me,” said Ray J. “I’m really emotional right now, and I really don’t know really what to say. But, what I will say, is that I love, and I’m hurt, but I enjoy being around people that support me and give me a sense of peace.”
