Buzz Notes: R&B Singers Battle For Omarosa’s Hot Pocket

Every member of the DeBarge family (Bunny included) should have been camping out at the casting call for this shit. When opportunity knocks you better get your ass up off the sofa and make a mad dash to the door. And that’s all I have to say about that.

When the reality dating show Donald J. Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger premieres on cable channel TV One later this week, two of the men competing for the love of the central character will be professional R&B singers.

One is Al B. Sure!, the 41-year-old romantic crooner who hit it big in 1988 with his single “Nite and Day.” The other is Ray Lavender, a 33-year-old singer who’s best known for a 2007 regional hit called “My Girl Gotta Girlfriend.” They’re among 12 men who’ll be competing for the heart of 36-year-old reality show veteran Omarosa, best known as the alpha villainess on Donald Trump’s The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice. Al B. And Ray will have some stiff competition: other contestants include an ex-NFL player, a self-help book author and a Christian rapper. (source)
