    Solange was always the “different one”. I know you guys don’t remember and that’s okay, but she did have a video back when she was a young Solo Star and you may have changed the channel when Destiny’s Child was on Cribs and they got to her room, but she was definitely a hipster then.       You mean the first one she ever came out with? The pop song about a boy, where she had braids and a hat and a sweater on while singing on a stage in what looked like a camp? That didn’t give me “I’m so different” vibes. That gave me “daddy’s got me working for the Wig Crypt” vibes. Not to mention the appearances in Bow Wow’s video (he is getting WAY too much mention this week) and Omarion’s video.

      I’m sorry, I am all for her trying to do something different, but an O.G. Glowstick carrier she is not.

      well for one having natural hair isnt exactly being different being that so many everyday women either are natural or are transitioning into being natural… 2. im sure the dress she’s wearing costs more then what I pay for my sons daycare each month, so explain to me whats different about a celeb (using that term lightly) wearing overpriced, basic ass clothes?  
       
      It’d be one thing if the whole natural free spirit thing is what solonge had been known for from jump, but its not. Just a year ago she was rocking the best of the worst fromt the wig crypt and wearing designer everything….  
       
      Just because she’s different from her sister doesnt mean she different and unique compared to everyone else.
