Print publications are dying. Not all of them, just most of them. An iconic publication by the name of GQ is trying to fight it though, with shade throwing towards the icon, OUR ICON, Michael Jackson. Recently Jermaine Dupri wrote about them SLAVE-ASS GQ bitches on his blog.

HOT COVER WACK ASS TITLE. SEE THIS IS THE SHIT THAT PISSES ME OFF PEOPLE WANNA USE THIS MAN TO MAKE THEM MONEY BUT CONTINUE TO THROW LIL SNEAK DISSES. AS FAR AS ANY FAN WOULD SAY, HE WAS COOL HIS WHOLE LIFE. I SAY THAT BECAUSE THE FANS ARE THE ONES THAT’S GONNA MAKE THIS COVER SELL 3 TIMES MORE MAGAZINES THAN THE LAST ONE SO WHY TITLE IT THIS?

Although his statement was filled with run-on sentences, I wholeheartedly agree with the Garden Gnome. The cover photo was amazing and reflected on a Michael in his prime; a youthful, African American man whose talent and grace changed the music and entertainment industry forever. However, this “When Michael Was Cool” shit is foul. If you are not going to write something nice about someone who has passed, knowing that their fans and supporters are going to purchase the magazine faster than Soullow running to the house when Neffe’s ovulating, don’t write anything at all.
