Lil’ Marlon and that beyond dreadful wig of hers scooted over to the Brooklyn Library to launch the 2009 summer reading program this morning. It moves me to see such a positive Black male giving back to our community. Okay, that wasn’t at all necessary but it felt so right.

All strong mandible jokes pushed to the side, Lil’ Mama is going hard to live up to her claim as the voice of the young people by consistently gives back and I admire that about her. Gold star for you!
