I bust the windows out your house . . .
Two women were booked into the Shelby County Jail late Monday after police say they tormented a Memphis woman over a man.
Alexis Mason, 24, and Erica Teal, 27, are each charged with assault, stalking and vandalism.
According to police reports, Mason and Teal went to the home of Ebony Brown in the 3000 block of Lyndale at 5 a.m. on Christmas Day and broke out several windows, causing an estimated $600 in damage.
Teal’s cell phone was found at the scene.
Then on Jan. 7, Mason and Teal pulled up next next to Brown at 1 p.m., got out of their car and — each wielding a bat — chased her down Guernsey. They caught her in the 3000 block of Baltic, where they each struck her at least twice with their bats, according to police.
Mason also tossed a brick at Brown and broke the front window of a house at the Baltic address.
According to the affidavit, the friction began when Mason became interested in Brown’s boyfriend.
Mason is being held on $1,000 bond; Teal’s bond was set at $2,000. [source]
