The world is just not enough for Papa Knowles! Bust it Creole recently met with DC Comics and Warner Bros studios to express her interest in future superhero roles on the big screen. And by express she really means “start writing a script tonight so I begin filming in early 2009!”

“I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman?” she told the Los Angeles Times.

“And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”

. . . She will soon be seen playing singer Etta James on the big screen in Cadillac Records, and has a major role in the thriller Obsessed.

“After doing these roles that were so emotional I was thinking to myself: ‘OK, I need to be a superhero,’” Beyonce said.

“Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there’s also an action element that I would enjoy.” [source]

“A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing.” Obama mania has really got the best of Captain Creole. I can think of more than a few powerful things sisters can become and lycra and spandex are not apart of the equation. That’s alright though – - dream, Beyonce, dream!
