For the second time in a week, rapper DMX has been arrested in Miami.
The 37-year-old artist, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested Friday on charges of attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department arrest report.
Simmons was arrested during a narcotics sting operation, according to the report. His bail was set at $6,000, online jail records show.
DMX has recently had a string of run-ins with the law. He was picked up last Monday afternoon in Miami on an arrest warrant for having no valid driver’s license, and he pleaded not guilty to felony drug possession and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges last month in Arizona. [source]
