“I love it. When they say ‘one-hit wonder,’ they think they’re attacking me with that, but some artists are trying to find that one hit. I made hip-hop history the first time up to bat. I will continue to eat off “My Neck, My Back” for years to come. I will be performing that song at 50. All over the world, all colors, races. Crossing all boundaries. No female has been able to have a mega-hit in hip-hop. Please tell me one song . . .

I feel bamboozled because I had such a mega-hit, and I’m just the girl from around the way. I had the success independently, so I didn’t have the mega-machine behind me to make sure my video plays 50 times a day. As big as that song was, if I had a Britney machine or a Rihanna machine, I woulda been the beautifulest thing in the world, too. They’re all robots. If we say they’re hot, they’re hot. If they say, ‘We’re not accepting Khia because she’s a s***-talker and she doesn’t do what we do, and if we let her know what’s going on, she’s going to expose us’…they’re like, “’No! Don’t let her in.’ But it’s fine. I’m still going to continue do my music because I love it.”
