Props for this spread on Badu, Fresh. This is the coldest cd of the year and probably will be until she releases her next. I will say that it kinda throws off the ppl who want another Mama’s Gun, but Return of the Ankh will be that I think (and hope )

Cracked Lips is funny as hell!
I mean this is a conscious album worth every cent and more! I swear your review must be based on your irrelevance in life and lack of conscious awareness of self and community! SMH, do you know how much funk and powerful African American music was created in the era of the 70’s? Like, say it loud and Steve Wonder’s album Innervisions featuring Living in the city! This is a revollutionary time in the world! These albums and her’s is classic, golden, profound the sister speaks! I did dig her music a little more when I was smelling a thousand flowers but yeah it should come with a bag of it! :LMAO

I really like these photos. I think that this will get her somemore sells. I think she is going to sell more than Janet and Janet has been on every show to man. The fucked up part is I am a big fan of Janet, but she just ain’t pulling her weight when it comes to this singing things. She whispers everything possible. All For You was the last album she had any actual singing on. I couldn’t believe it when I heard the album. Like her vocals just went down the drain completely. I know she wasn’t an amazing singer, but she could hold a note and she could sing some stuff. Like Escapade, All For You, and other songs where I didn’t actually need the words to know what she was saying.
For some reason I just went on this rampage, but I think because I am a fan I am just angry at her.
But Badu is my girl. I loved her first album and then after that I was sold. She be on the edge of the cliff sometimes, but she come back. She ain’t fell off the cliff yet. She’s doing good. That’s my girl.
